Daily Mail’s mistaken identity

The Daily Mail mislabelled fiercely pro-Israel, right-wing agitator and former IDF soldier Avi Yemini as a “pro-Palestine protester” in its story about a vigil in Melbourne held on the anniversary of the October 7 attacks.

Yemini, photographed in a terse exchange with a police officer, is seen in the Daily Mail’s article, originally accompanied by the caption: “Pro-Palestine protesters were seen clashing with police in Melbourne on Wednesday, October 7”, despite visibly carrying a microphone branded with his right-wing online outlet, Rebel News.
