Motorists, residents and homeless people in Bangkok battle floodwaters on Sept 26. Since the beginning of September, 487mm of rain have been recorded in the capital — 82% above the 30-year average for the same period, the BMA said. All 50 districts were declared disaster areas to speed up the flood response.
